Front Office

The Starfleet PMS System has been designed specifically for Australasian accommodation properties including Hotels, Motels, Resorts and Backpackers. Fully Windows based, you and your staff can now provide Guests with the best possible service and assistance from our easy to use Starfleet Front Office Software package.

The screen based allocation table is color coded and designed for easy visual use. There are many features to help in making reservations simple and easy to create and edit when required. A Quick Availability screen by room type will provide an instant update of the number of rooms available.

Select the appropriate room rate from our comprehensive rates inventory (user defined), and easily add this to the booking as it is made.

Email a Confirmation letter to the guest once the reservation has been saved. Send an SMS message to your guest confirming arrival on the day.

At check out time, print or email a Guest account with a click of a button. Easily add charges such as Breakfast and process payments. Made a mistake? Reverse or Void the entries, and quickly print the Guest a new account. Split charge back and personal entries just as easily.

Returning Guests – no problem! All their details are readily available for their next visit! Locate them by Name, Last stay, Company, Reservation or Account number, and create a new reservation for their next stay.

Groups are easier to handle than ever with our latest version! Large conference or coach groups are easily entered in a manner similar to individual reservations. Include multiple rooms, different arrival and check out dates and a whole list of different charges automatically from our comprehensive package set up! Then print rooming lists, and check in with a click of a button! Add any individual charges, and at check out time, check the group out just as easy! Each individual room can be updated with the Guest name yet still remain linked to the group account.

Accept the pre-defined account folios automatically, or modify them for a specific Guest requirement either at booking time, or any time later during the Guest’s stay.

Debtors are fully integrated in the system. Handle all your corporate accounts and agents with commissions and discounts. Complete to trial balance and statement print. Full open item ensures all transactions are always on file in the system, whether in current, or in history. Also handles large volumes of entries.

Run end of shift reports and reconcile quickly and easily. Run Night audit and pre-select only the reports you want, for a quick and easy end of day reconciliation.

Included with the Front Office are the following sections:

  • Back Office: Comprises Night Audit, Data Link options.
  • Reports: Covers a range of reports including Reservation reports, Transaction List, Bank Report, Weekly Summary and Statutory Government reporting, as well as Marketing and Occupancy reports.
  • Setup: Set up all aspects of property specific details such as Rooms, Room Rates, Transaction codes, Marketing codes and a large number of preset options.
